PIRC, or Public Interest Research Centre, based in Machynlleth, Wales, develop “stories and strategies for a more equal, green and democratic society”.
Their Common Cause Handbook, first published in 2011, explores how values and frames shape our perception of social and ecological issues and can be employed to promote democracy and sustainable development.
Values represent our guiding principles: our broadest motivations, influencing the attitudes we hold and how we act.
